Robotics for Automation and AI Learning

LocoArm and LocoRover

Two classroom-ready robotics platforms designed to support hands-on learning in automation, robotics, and AI. Built for grades 6–12, LocoArm and LocoRover help teachers move from single lessons to sustained STEM and CTE pathways.

LocoArm

Hands-On Automation and Precision

LocoArm is a programmable robotic arm with five degrees of freedom and an integrated sensor. Students learn how robotic arms are used in automation and manufacturing through hands-on projects.

Key Learning Areas

  • Robot arm mechanics and motion control

  • Pick-and-place automation workflows

  • Geometry-based motion planning

  • Introductory AI and sensor integration

Coding: Python and Java
Grades: 6–12

LocoRover

Mobile Robotics With AI Vision

LocoRover combines a 4WD Mecanum wheel base, robotic arm, and HD camera. Students explore mobility, navigation, and AI through real robotics challenges.

Key Learning Areas

  • Autonomous movement and navigation

  • Mobile pick-and-place automation

  • AI vision, object recognition, and tracking

  • Team-based robotics projects

Coding: Python
